Results are in and the winner is

Congratulations.

If you promised prizes, you should feel free to contact the contestant you owe at your leisure.  This account is not taking responsibility for contacting or enforcing the receipt of prizes.

It's been a really long road, and for whatever it's worth, the only people that walked it from start to finish were Corpse-Face and Izuma.

For those of you saying "at least the contestants had fun", try to remember what the crew of this atrocious farce went through.  This tournament has had to recruit four hosts and thirteen judges to get to this point. Sixteen of its contestants (fully a quarter of them) dropped out in the first, second, and third rounds.

If you're reading this and are thinking of running a tournament: Stop.  If you haven't had experience as a judge or won a round or two as a contestant in another tournament you are not qualified to understand what's required of a host. Tournaments are complicated, difficult affairs, which require good judgment and management skills; an ability to deal with drama maturely; and detachment from your pet project, because after auditions are over--if not as soon as they open--your tournament is no longer yours: it belongs to the contestants.  If done poorly a tournament will be thankless, depressing, and ridiculous; it will make the community look bad.

As of this posting, this account is retired.  It is not taking further solicitations.  There will not be a sequel.  Do not try to contact it via message or note.
